Kathy is the Associate Dean for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the School of Science, Engineering and Environment at the University of Salford. She is a passionate advocate for social justice and believes deeply in the power of education to change lives. Over the years, Kathy has worked on a range of fuel poverty and community energy projects across the North West, helping to make a real difference in local communities. She studied Ecology at the University of Plymouth, went on to complete a Master’s in Environmental Philosophy at Lancaster University, and is now finishing her PhD in Computing
