The In2STEM programme is a free summer programme for students 16 years old or over and current Year 12 students (S5/S6 students in Scotland) or equivalent, consisting of a 1-2 week in-person work experience placement, live online workshops, competitions and events. By taking part in the programme, you will gain hands-on STEM experience and expand your personal and professional skills.

Admissions to the In2STEM programme are highly competitive. Students applying for the programme go through a shortlisting process based on their application, eligibility, teacher reference, and placement availability. Find out if you’re eligible with our checker, or explore the criteria below.
