We are delighted to congratulate In2scienceUK trustee Phoebe Reynolds for receiving the Public Engagement of Neuroscience award from the British Neuroscience Association (BNA).
The award honours individuals who make an outstanding contribution to engaging the public in Neuroscience.
Phoebe originally joined In2scienceUK as a programme participant, before going on to study Human Sciences at the University of Oxford and her PhD at KCL. Alongside her PhD and role as In2scienceUK trustee, she also regularly participates in science communication and outreach activities.
In response to receiving the award, Phoebe said:
“I am thrilled to receive the BNA Public Engagement Award 2024. This recognition celebrates not only my efforts but also the incredible work of communities and organisations like in2scienceUK. Through my involvement with in2scienceUK, I’ve seen first-hand how breaking down barriers and making science accessible can inspire the scientists of tomorrow. This award reflects the power of connecting neuroscience with society, ensuring that science is open and inclusive to all.”
