The student Formula 1 Team Cobra has raised £2,725 for In2scienceUK through fundraising as part of their participation in STEM Racing UK.
The King’s College School Wimbledon students designed and raced their own miniature Formula 1 cars, and used the project to raise awareness and funds for In2scienceUK. Team Cobra succeeded to making it to the National Finals – here’s a clip of them being interviewed as part of the race:
Alongside the race, the team hosted a number of bake sales and used their social media and podcast ‘The Strike Zone’ to raise awareness of In2scienceUK’s work, including inviting In2STEM Programme Manager Jordan Stephenson as a guest.
