Faizah, from Oxford, a student on this summer’s Virtual Placement Programme couldn’t wait to tell us what being on the Programme meant for her…
“This program was the perfect place to combine my interests in Biology and Chemistry! The lectures and research we learned about such as CAR T cells, T stem cell memory cells, as well as camelid nanobodies in the field of cancer and virology were fascinating and confirmed my desire to study Biochemistry at university.
I learned a lot of skills during the additional workshops which will give me the tools to succeed in the various fields of science in the future.”
