We are delighted to work in partnership with SEC Life Sciences, who are continuing to support In2scienceUK, by enabling 50 young people to complete our innovative programme over a five-year period.
In2scienceUK’s mission is to empower young people from low-income backgrounds to achieve their potential and progress to science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) degrees and careers. In 2021 we supported more students than ever before, as well as increasing our reach in the UK by expanding the programme into Manchester, Liverpool, Lancaster, Leeds and Cardiff. We were able to support 670 young people from 286 schools across the country.
SEC has a long history of delivering recruitment services within the life sciences sector, and the team have helped thousands of individuals with their career journey. SEC Life Sciences are passionate about empowering the next generation of STEM professionals, and are working with In2scienceUK to help promote better diversity and inclusion in the sector.
Tyrone Watson, Head of Development at In2scienceUK shared his thoughts on the partnership:
“SEC Life Sciences are making a positive difference to the lives of young people from low-income backgrounds, providing them with the opportunity to reach their potential in STEM”
In2scienceUK can only continue to expand and help more young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, through our partnerships and support from universities and research Institutions. Find out how your organisation can help support the next generation of motivated STEM professionals.
